“To all my friends!”
Wow - that was great. Asa, Ian and I just got done hosting a web conference with about a dozen Spread Firefox members where we shared the high level marketing plan for Firefox in 2006, and details on upcoming enhancements to Spread Firefox. We also brainstormed together on Mozilla community marketing ideas.
For a first try at this kind of community meeting, I think things went well. I feel energized by having seen how enthusiastic the SFx members who gave us feedback today were, and I think the next several weeks are going to be creative, productive ones. Great ideas on things community members can get rolling quickly came up in the meeting, which we’ll archive and post on SFx.com soon.
Thank you to everyone who was there today. We’ll definitely do this again soon.

Hi Paul,
yes it was great. It is amazing to feel how much driving force really comes from the community. Even if Firefox was not the lean silver-bullet train it is, but a hudge block of lead, it would be going forward into the market so fast and deap!
Spreadfirefox (SFX) just took a big step forward in community driven marketing. Once again others who imitate can soon copy in the near future….
Firefox - your eyes to the world
SFX - there to open your eyes!
(First coined in the first mozilla community marketing meeting (thanks raiph!))
