google firefox promo
Thanks to the marketing team at Google for the support. This is the first time a third party product has ever been featured on Google’s homepage. For now, only IE users in the US will see the promo.

    Being a (gasp) Firefox user, didn’t know that until just now. Opened up IE… and enjoyed seeing that! Sweet. Is this a 1 day thing, or a longer run?

    Firefox-Werbung auf Google.com…

    Nachdem Google schon lange ein starker Unterstützer der Mozilla Foundation und Firefox ist, wird für nun direkt auf der eigenen Startseite des Suchmaschinen-Platzhirsches für den Browser geworben:

    Die Anzeige ist nur für IE-Nutzer in den USA sicht…

    It’s been pointed out to me that technically this isn’t the first third party product to be on their homepage — they’ve previously run promos for Google Pack (which is all third party software) and for CBS and the NBA as part of Google Video.

Google w programie AdSense płaci partnerom od 10 centów do 1 dolara za każdego poleconego użytkownika, który pobrał i zainstalował Firefoksa z Google Toolbar. [...]
