Bio
I’m the VP of marketing for Mozilla Corporation.
I joined Mozilla in 2005, and helped launch Firefox 1.5, Firefox 2 and Firefox 3. Before Mozilla, I marketed Creative Suite, InDesign and PageMaker for Adobe. I first got involved with web development and Internet marketing in 1996, as an independent web producer for Bank of America, CMP Media, Ziff Davis and Organic.
Way, way back, I co-founded Insurgency Pictures, a start-up television advertising company based in San Francisco, California. My first job out of college was as a writer and product manager at Spectrum HoloByte, which I left to join the Milarepa Fund as a web producer.
I received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and an AB in English from Stanford. I live in Oakland, California, with my wife and daughter.
Here’s the post where I introduced myself to the Mozilla community. I was so much older then; I’m younger than that now. :-)
