Hi, I’m Paul Kim. This is my personal blog. I’m a startup marketing adviser. Most recently I was the VP Marketing at issuu. I’ve worked in startups and tech my entire career.
Before issuu, I was EVP Digital Marketing for WeWork. I joined WeWork after running my own startup, where I built an app designed for active parents. I have also served as VP marketing for Klout, which ended up being acquired by Lithium Technologies. Prior to Klout, I worked for Automattic, the makers of WordPress.com, where I served as VP of user growth and was responsible for marketing and communications. I joined Automattic after several years at Mozilla, where I was VP marketing and launched four major versions of Firefox. I started my career in technology marketing at Adobe Systems where I led product marketing for Creative Suite, InDesign and PageMaker.
I received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and an AB in English from Stanford. I live in Oakland, California, with my wife and our daughters.
